I spearheaded The Rockefeller University's site redesign, converting existing table-based legacy code to standards-compliant, semantic, search engine optimized and cross-browser functional XHTML. I worked with designers and programmers to separate style and behavior from content into external files, to create a jQuery-based JavaScript library, and to integrate Smarty templates as well as a Content Verification System.
For this project, I was presented with an existing design to utilize in creating a new site for a Southern California law firm. A Content Management System was required for the client to update them site themselves, as well as a custom banner animation.
I collaborated with Toymechanics on this site for a Sushi restaurant. It is coded in strict 1.0 XHTML with a streamlined JavaScript library.
Toymechanics approached me once they created a design for a Flash-based site to showcase their work on the Web. They wanted the site to be playful and to allow the user freedom to explore and interact with the site in a non-linear fashion, but also to showcase a diverse portofolio of work.
When ESPN Between Rounds Radio wanted to establish their Web presence they approached me for the initial build. Although they would maintain the site in-house, they required clean, semantic code, with content, style, and presentation separated for maximum maintainability and standards-compliance, as well as search engine optimization.
A New York-based writer and editor commissioned me to create her online portfolio for an impending deadline and with a rigid budget.
This Southern California band hired me to create a new Web site to coincide with their upcoming marketing campaign. They requested a Flash-based site with extensive interactivity, streaming music to showcase their upcoming album, a newsletter, a message board, photos from shows, music videos, and various other media. Toymechanics designed their campaign and the site used these designs to create a consistent overall look/identity for the group.
I freelanced for George Langevin Productions as a camera operator, editor, and producer in the studio and on location throughout the United States, predominantly on sporting events. I shot video and stills, recorded audio, collaborated with voice talent, and worked on post-production with Final Cut Studio.
I freelanced for Mediabistro on a number of shoots in Manhattan in the studio and on location, lighting scenes, operating second camera, and recording audio using multiple microphones.
